Church sign generator

There are some cool generators on this page. The link for it was posted by WHAK'd in an earlier post here. I hope my pic above shows up. It's a sign in front of a Catholic church and I made the sign say, Our church evolved from torture and murder.
LOL!

Trickery......

...it's the greatest Witnessing Tool!!
There's a local church that has an ad in this weeks paper called 'Christmas for Kids'. They start with pointing out all the stressfull things related to xmas, the shopping, decorating, wrapping, baking, cleaning, sending cards. Then they talk about feeling the pressure of the holiday deadline and needing some quiet time for yourself to get things done before Christmas. Then they come right out and say, "Face it, some things are just easier to get done when the kids aren't around."

Then they offer a "gift" to the parents. They have the church opened on a certain day for 4 hours for you to drop off your kids while you do your hustle-bustle-holiday rush. Then they go on to say the kids will be...

hearing the story of the First Christmas (the birth of the lord and savior, which I'm sure getting told they'll go to hell without him will be thrown in there somewhere. Jesus wasn't even born in December but yet they use this day as their own)

decorating cookies (christian churches have turned symbols, ordinary and/or stolen from other religions, into their own symbols with their own meanings. the cookies are shaped in those symbols and their meanings will be getting shoved down your kids' throats along with the cookie)

singing Christmas songs (christian hymns- not Frosty the Snowman or Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer- hymns about their beliefs)

making a craft (they will make a project that includes all of the symbols and meanings of what has just been forced into them in a tricky form of childsplay so that they will take it with them and see it often-the first step of the church's mindbending techniques)

Children's minds are easier to bend than an adult's. Get to the children first then the parent's will follow. You really need to pay attention to what these church's are doing.

Yahoo schmahoo!

Well, I thought I had it figured it out to have this blog feed to my Yahoo360 page. But it's been stuck on the same post for a while. Nothing new is feeding over. :-(
There was an email posted to the 360 group that if you move the positions of all your feeds every so often they continue to show the new posts. But all I have is this blog, how am I supposed to switch place with another feed if all I have is one? I really don't want to get another one just to keep switching them. Unless I can find some kind of weird news feed to put on there. I guess for now I'll just leave it be. I'm not in the mood to piss around with it right now. Or maybe I'll surf around a while and see if I can find some kind of weird news RSS feed. I'm just really exhausted, haven't slept much for quite a few nights. And I just spent the last hour on the phone talking to the Xbox people about my broken Xbox360. I have to send it back to be repaired already.

Libra Daily Horoscope

Your fiscal situation and home life may be poised for big changes today, as your budget is under a cycle of luck and protection. Discussions about money regarding your family or your home may flow smoothly. If you usually feel uncomfortable talking about your finances or negotiating prices, today can be a good day to think about investing, finding a new home, or remodeling your current home. If you've been considering looking for a new home or buying a piece of real estate, you may want to try researching prices in your area, speaking with local brokers, or making an offer. Today can be a great time to begin planning a large home-based project or event with your family.

Thinking of yourself as lucky can help you consciously or unconsciously create opportunities for creating your best life. People who truly consider themselves lucky and believe that good things are coming their way tend to be more cheerful, more optimistic, and more likely to notice opportunities when they arise. When you perceive yourself as having good luck, you can see blessings in every situation. Because you expect yourself to be lucky in all situations you can be brave when it comes to taking chances. Your ensuing good luck is not just a chance happening but a result of your willingness to be lucky. Let yourself be lucky today, and you could make lucrative decisions that will benefit you, your home, or your family.
